Over the past few years, Connecticut has seen several local high school players further their hockey careers by going on to play for one of the many prep schools located throughout New England. Given the high concentration of schools in the Northeast (60+ either in or within driving distance of Connecticut), the higher level of play combined with a close proximity to home make prep school boys ice hockey a great option for players with the skill and desire to take their game to the next level. (The education is a fantastic plus, as well.)
