Our friend Ned Burt from Burtsville.com provided us with this recap from Trinity-Pawling’s opening scrimmage against Canterbury:

“Nov. 18, 2011 saw Trinity Pawling start it’s hockey year with a scrimmage v. Canterbruy. TP lost 2-1 but we were well represented by the boys from the SCC. Greg Harney (Notre Dame-West Haven, repeat sophomore) played one period in net giving up 1 goal while making many stellar saves. Charlie Zuccarini (Notre Dame-Fairfield, repeat sophomore) scored the team’s only goal on a nice give and go with PG Jim Burt from Hamden who had the lone assist.

Bad news was PG Jimmy Joe Granito from New Canaan got injured in the first period while checking someone and will be out for a few weeks with an upper body injury.”

Thanks again, Ned!
